Great Opportunity

You will be involved in assembly of electrical control panels from component parts.

Position requires standing, lifting, and working with hand and power tools, including wire strippers, pliers, cordless drills, etc.

Additional tasks will include use of rulers, tape measures, pipe bending and threading equipment and electrical testing equipment.

Employees will be expected to follow established safety and quality procedures, and to be responsive to requests from Mod Shop leaders and branch management regarding work habits and processes.

All candidates should possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work well with others and independently.

Attention to detail and the ability to precisely follow directions is crucial to the position. Experience in the electrical industry is not required, however, preferred candidates will possess knowledge of electrical products and wiring as well as ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematic drawings.
 
  • Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions.
  • Loads/Unloads common carrier and company vehicles.
  • Assembles customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTL
  • Processes paperwork regarding shipments including verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct postage tape, filling out proper BOL information for LTL shipments, following customer shipping instructions and insuring the shipment when necessary.
  • Gathers assembled orders that are in carts and verifies their quantities and descriptions. Counts and writes total quantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice.
  • Packs each order into a container and arranges the container onto a shelf according to truck route. Verifies quantities and items being shipped against the invoice.
  • Substitutes for other warehouse personnel when needed.
 
  • Use of Scanner for Warehouse Management System, picking orders and general put away of material after receipt. Qualifications:
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attendance record required.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • General knowledge of electrical products.  
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
