Job Title: Senior Compensation Analyst (TEMPORARY ROLE)
Pay Rate: $50 – $60 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Setup: Hybrid (In-office Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Position Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Compensation Analyst to join our HR team on a temporary basis. In this critical role, you’ll help drive the strategy, implementation, and administration of compensation programs including base pay, incentive plans, and variable compensation structures.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, manage, and evaluate compensation structures (base pay, variable pay, and incentive plans)
Analyze internal job levels, market data, and pay structures to ensure competitiveness and internal equity
Support annual compensation cycles: merit reviews, bonus calculations, and incentive processing
Administer monthly, quarterly, and annual variable pay programs including sales compensation
Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to align compensation strategy with business goals
Conduct job evaluations, create job descriptions, and maintain accurate compensation documentation
Complete annual compensation surveys and benchmark roles using market data platforms
Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state labor laws (FLSA, ERISA, etc.)
Serve as a subject matter expert to advise HRBPs and senior leadership on pay decisions
Maintain and enhance compensation systems including job codes, pay guidelines, and salary structures
Perform advanced data analysis in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas/macros)
Participate in compensation-related projects and service award administration
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in compensation, HR, or finance
Strong background in job evaluations, pay structure design, and incentive plan administration
Experience with sales compensation and performance-based pay programs
Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas/macros)
Proficiency with compensation/HRIS systems (e.g., Xactly, ADP, SuccessFactors, PayFactors preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across business units
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and discretion with sensitive data
Familiarity with compliance requirements including FLSA, ERISA, and pay equity legislation
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SHRM-CP, or other relevant certification a plus
