Contract Management Specialist

The Robinson Diamond Resource Group has an Contract possible contract to hire position for a Contract Management Specialist with an International Leader in aerospace .

This position is totally remote right now and will be 65 remote/ 35 on-site once COVID restrictions lifted 

As a member of a team representing the company, supports external negotiations to a diverse set of customers.
  • Exercises appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies.
  • Supports presentation of business solutions to preserve and expand the business.
  • Authority to prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements for the company.
  • Coordinates with other internal functional disciplines.
  • Summarizes contractual issues, supports development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of customer-facing, or equivalent, experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience negotiating commercial or legal terms and conditions in a contract and administering commercial contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with complex contracts

  • Experience developing negotiating strategies, obtaining management approval and closing negotiations

  • Ability to identify and mitigate risk

  • Intermediate skills in Adobe Acrobat

  • Experience presenting complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, in large and small groups

  • Experience working within a fast-paced team environment which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with Program Leadership, internal and external customer representatives and development teams

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data within excel
